The members of Shia Societies Association, dependent to Grand Ayatollah Shirazi met several Iraqi tribal communities in Iraq. The members of this association visited the meeting hall of Sheikh Naif Abdul-Hadi Ale Naif and discussed the important role of Iraqi tribal communities in Iraq. Further in this meeting, this association conveyed the instructions of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi to these Iraqi tribesmen.
Some delegations from Imam Hussein TV headquartered in holy Karbala took part in Imam Mahdi birthday celebrations at Abbas husayniya in Birmingham, the UK. This celebration was attended by hundreds of Shia Muslims in England, during which Adel Maash, on behalf of Imam Hussein TV reported on the programs and activities by this media organization to serve the AhlulBayt (as). Imam Hussein TV is an independent Shia TV channel which propagates the culture of AhlulBayt (as) in five different languages.
At the sidelines of this event, Qassem Fahad, an official at Imam Hussein TV gave a rug with the design of ziarat Ashura to the custodians of the husayniya in Birmingham.
Marjaeyat TV delegations were the guests of the meeting hall of Sheikh Abu Majid Al-Arezi, the chief of Arezi tribe and met with some members of this tribal community in holy Karbala. In the meeting, the Marjaeyat TV delegations delivered the respects and guidelines of the Grand Jurist to these Iraqi tribal communities.
Sheikh Jalal Maash, the representative of the Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in Lebanon participated in the birthday celebration of Imam al-Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance) at several offices of the Great Islamic jurists and husayniyas in different cities of this country. During these visits, some instructions of the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi were conveyed to the crowds of believers.
Over the past few days, the Central Office of Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Qom hosted groups of Shai believers from Haidar Abad in India who had come on a pilgrimage trip to sacred sites in Iran and Iraq. During this visit, these Indian pilgrims met with the Grand Jurist and listened to statements of his eminence. The Grand Jurist opened his remarks emphasizing the importance of pilgrimage trips and said: The pilgrimage trips should be accompanied by practical changes in pilgrims. For instance, you as pilgrims should make a firm decision to implement these words by the Prophet of Islam, who said: Don’t get angry. The Grand Jurist then added: The Prophet repeated these words for three times, while his holiness never did repeat himself. This should highlight the importance of these words. His eminence then said to his visitors: In this pilgrimage trip, you should make a resolution not to get angry. You should restrain your anger when you deal with your parents, family, children, neighbors and everyone else. Grand Ayatollah Shirazi continued: You should make this decision at this moment now. Make a decision to control your anger and you will have far less regrets in your lives. At the end, the Grand Jurist said: This hadith by the Prophet of Islam should be a good souvenir for you in this trip. I will pray for all of you and I hope you do the same, during this pilgrimage.
Simultaneously with the Eids of the month of Shaban, some delegations from Shia Societies Association, dependent to Imam Shirazi Foundation in holy Karbala visited various cultural, religious, and tribal figures in different parts of Iraq.
In recent days, these delegations visited Sheikh Saad Al-Duraji, one of the representatives of the Grand Jurist and the director of Om Al-Banin Institute in Ammarah City. Furthermore, the members of Shia Societies Association traveled to Dhi Qar province and met with Morteza Mashai, the director of late Ayatollah Sayed Mohammad Ridha Shirazi Community.
In compliance to the instructions of Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi, the Sayed Shuhada Charitable Committee in Kuwait began a project to pay distribute kidney medications in Yemen for free. According to reports, the lives of kidney patients in Yemen hangs in the balance as they have to deal with a stark shortage of medication in this country. Almost five years of nonstop war in Yemen has brought about severe damages to lives of the Yemeni people and the country’s infrastructure. In the first phase of this project, the Sayed Shuhada Committee provided necessary medications for 250 kidney patients at Sanaa Hospital in the country’s Capital. It is worth noting that this committee has run various humanitarian programs in Yemen since the outbreak of war in this country.
The e-book edition of “a sight on the life of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance)” has been made available on the official website of Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq Shirazi. The book contains several lectures by the Grand Jurist on the subject, which have been compiled over the years. The book is aimed at addressing questions and misgivings about the issue of Mahdism from various angles.
Delegations from the Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Najaf met with Ahmed Al-Awadi, a general of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Diwaniya City, during their visit to this City. In this meeting, the PMU general appreciated the supports of the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi as well as the verdict by his eminence, calling all groups of Iraqis to defend the nation and sanctities of Iraq. In addition, Mr. Al-Awadi appreciated programs by Offices of Grand Jurist to support the families of Iraqi martyred soldiers. During this visit, these delegations handed over some presents to PMU generals and appreciated their bravery and sacrifices.
Coinciding the birthday of Imam al-Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance), the temporary Office of Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq Shirazi in holy Karbala offered its cultural and religious services to pilgrims of Imam Hussain (as) in this City. On this occasion, the pilgrims in holy Karbala referred their religious questions to the experts at this Office and discussed various topics. Furthermore, the temporary Office of Grand Jurist in holy Karbala hosted Ayatollah Sayed Morteza Shirazi, the son of the late Grand Jurist Ayatollah Sayed Mohammad Shirazi.
