SRW Releases its Monthly Report

Shia rights watch organization released its monthly report covering the latest violations of human and religious rights of the Shia Muslims in different parts of the world.

This report is compiled by the contribution of many civil and human rights activists and it reports on the anti-Shia movements by terrorist groups and suppressive regimes in the recent month. In addition, this report along with verified documents and evidences will be made available to the public opinion, the media outlets, and human rights foundations.

Shia rights watch organization is a human rights center located in Washington DC which is supported by the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi central office.

Head of Shirazi Followers Office Attends Cultural Event in Karbala

After an invitation by the shrine of Hazrat Abbas, peace be upon him, in holy Karbala, Mr. Ali Sarrai, the director of Shirazi followers office in Baghdad attended the cultural event of “Verdict for Defense” in holy Karbala.

This big cultural event was attended by different religious, social, and military experts as well as mangers of civil centers.

In addition, Mr. Sarrai visited the office of the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in  holy Karbala and met with Sayyid Mahdi Shirazi and Sheikh Talib Al-Salehi.

Muslim Girls Celebrate their 9th Birthday in Ottawa, Canada

On the blissful month of Sha’aban, girl students at Al-Mahdi School celebrated their 9th birthday at Fatima Islamic center in Ottawa, in Canada.

This ceremony was attended by some religious and cultural activists, and the families of the students. This ceremony held several educational programs and the girls who observed hijab were appreciated.

Al-Mahdi institute was established by Shia religious women in Ottawa. This has held several religious and cultural programs in recent years.

Grand Ayatollah Shirazi Office in Karbala Hosts Religious and Cultural Activists

A number of scholars, religious and cultural activists, and some students of Islamic sciences from different Islamic countries and different cities of Iraq came to the office of the Grand Islamic leader, Ayatollah Shirazi and met with managers and the director of this office.

During these meetings, latest social and religious developments of the Muslim world were discussed. In addition, implementation of Quranic teachings and the traditions of the Pure AhlulBayt were emphasized in these meetings.

Ayatollah Sayyid Hadi Mudarresi, Sayyid Abbas Mudarresi, Sheikh Muhammad Al-Madluh, Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Makarem, the author of “The Oppressed Savior” encyclopedia, and a number of scholars from the Eastern Province in Saudi Arabia and Kadhimiya city in Iraq were among the guests of this office.

Delegations of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi Office Visit Islamic Centers in Basra

Some delegations of the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi office in holy Qom made a trip to the city of Basra in Iraq and visited the office of the Grand ayatollah shirazi in this city. In this trip, these delegations also visited the Islamic and cultural centers dependent to the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi and met with religious and cultural activists.

During these visits, delegations of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi were accompanied by the director of Ayatollah Shirazi office in Basra and some representatives of the Grand Jurist.

These delegates paid visits to different districts and neighborhoods in Basra and met with religious, cultural and social activists including Sheikh Muthanna Al-Rubai’i and Sheikh Ali Khaz,Ali.

Free Muslim Organization Condemns Killings in Libya

The human rights center of free Muslims, an organization dependent to the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi released a message and condemned the crimes of ISIS terrorist group against the innocent civilians in Libya.

This human rights center also pointed to the silence of the international community and human rights foundations and demanded the Libyan government to stop the bloodshed. In addition, free Muslim center urged the international human rights centers to fulfill their human and legal responsibilities.

In recent months, hundreds of civilians lost their lives in terror attacks by ISIS in Libya.

ISWF Releases Statement on First Humanitarian Summit in Turkey

The World Humanitarian Summit of the UN kicked off in Istanbul, the Turkish capital. In this regard, Imam Shirazi World Foundation released a statement and urged all world leaders at this summit to solve the conflicts in the Middle-East with peaceful methods. In its statement, ISWF considered it a responsibility of the world leaders to provide security and protect the individual and social rights of people against terrorism.

This World Humanitarian Summit hosts more than 60 world leaders for two days.

Grand Ayatollah Shirazi Representative Visits Orphanages in Indonesia

During his trip to Southern Asia, Sheikh Safa, a representative of the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi visited a residential institution devoted to the care of orphans in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta. In this visit, the representative of the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi talked to the managers of this institution and learned about their activities.

In this visit, Sheikh Safa was accompanied with the manager of AhlulBayt cultural institute in Indonesia, the director of the Indonesian human rights center and some reporters.

Finally, the representative of the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi emphasized on improving the life conditions of the poor people.

Service Stations Receive Facilities to Serve Pilgrims in Sha’aban Month

In order to serve the millions of pilgrims in Sha’aban month, a community of Imam Husayn servants have equipped the service stations with different facilities to help them improve their services to the  pilgrims.

Distribution of food and providing medical services and drinking water for the pilgrims  were the programs of this community in holy Karbala. In addition, this community also helped the service stations with their facilities.

Um Abiha Charitable Institute Continue in Sha’aban Month

Following the guidelines of the Islamic leader, Ayatollah Shirazi and on the auspicious birthday anniversary of Imam Mahdi (PBUH), the charitable institution of Um Abiha has distributed financial helps among the poor and needy families.

In this charitable program which was attended by Islamic scholars, philanthropists, and social activists, hundreds of orphans and poor families received financial helps.

The cultural and charitable institution of Um Abiha in Iraq is supervised by the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi.
